The Information Technology (IT) Division established and approved its IT mission, vision, and values that guide the initiatives, the City is well positioned to successfully achieve its goals that provide benefits to the City and its Departments.

The ITD vision and mission statements support the City’s Mission and Values.

The mission of the Information Technology Division (ITD) – a division within the Finance and Information Technology Department – is to be an effective business partner with the City of Vacaville (CITY) workforce to achieve efficient business practices via technological excellence.

The primary goal is to collaborate with other City Departments; achieve practical and reliable solutions to City Problems and optimize opportunities through information technology leadership and professional service. The ITD mission is accomplished by providing professional and technical services in:

• Business analysis and project management
• System hardware installation and support
• Application software deployment, training and support
• Network and telecommunication infrastructure

ITD’s Vision Statements are as follows:
