    When Scheduling Through The Automated Building Inspection Line, You May Receive An Error. Please Do Not Re-Attempt To Schedule Using The Automated System. Instead, Please Call The Main Line At 707-449-5152, And Select Option 1 To Speak With A Staff Member to Schedule Your Inspection. If You Are Using ETrakit To Schedule An Inspection, Please Note Inspection Requests Can Be Scheduled Up To Sixty (60) Days Out. 

    While We Are Not Always Able To Accommodate Next-Day Inspection Requests, Staff Will Do Their Best To Accommodate You With The Earliest Available Date. If You Have Any Questions Or Concerns, Please Email The Building Division At Permits@Cityofvacaville.Com.

    A Final Building Inspection will not be performed until all other departments or outside agencies have signed off on your project. Call those departments directly to coordinate your inspection date and time. 

    Schedule your Building Inspection, (707) 999-7113, 24 hours a day.
    Before phoning in, you will need:

    1. Touch Tone phone
    2. Permit Number
    3. Three Digit Inspection Code. The three-digit inspection code is listed on your permit card, provided to you by the Building Division at permit issuance time.

    Call (707) 999-7113, select from the following choices: 

    CALL (707) 999-7113

    Have your permit handy and check current calendar for office closures and holidays.

    Enter the permit number followed by the # key. The permit number and job site will read back to you.
    Select 1: if the permit number is correct
    Select 2: to reenter the permit number

    Locate the inspection type on your permit card.
    Enter the three digits for the corresponding inspection you are requesting. Followed by the # key.

    Select 1: To schedule your inspection for the next available day. To schedule a future inspection, follow the prompts. You will receive a confirmation number for the scheduled inspection.

    Additional options available: 
    Select 1: To leave a message for the inspector.
    Select 2: To repeat the confirmation number.
    Select 3: To schedule an additional inspection on same permit.
    Select 4: To schedule an inspection on a different permit.
    Select 5: To return to the main menu.

    When finished, you may hang up.
