On behalf of everyone in the Vacaville Fire Department, welcome to our website. Our staff of over 100, including sworn and civilian personnel, are proud to provide services to the community of Vacaville in a caring and professional manner. Our mission is to, “reduce the impact of emergencies in a caring and competent way.” Our people do that daily through prevention, education, and emergency response. The Vacaville Fire Department has a rich history and has proudly served the community for over 120 years.

Our firefighters are highly skilled and trained “all-risk” emergency responders providing services to Vacaville out of five fire stations. Our Fire Prevention Bureau provides public education services, inspection services, plans checking, and post-incident fire investigation. Our Support Services staff provides a full range of data analysis and clerical support.
