The Vacaville Fire Explorer Program is designed for youth, 15-18 years of age, who are interested in learning about a career in the fire service. This is a hands-on program that provides the participants with many different opportunities to learn about what it physically and mentally takes to be a professional firefighter. 

Applications can be accepted at anytime and candidates will be notified when the next interviews are scheduled.
