    Host a Special or Temporary Event!

    The Special Events Portal provides an end-to-end centralized application experience for event organizers needing special event or temporary use permits in Vacaville. From determining requirements across the various city departments to permit issuance, event organizers can submit and track the status of their application through an easy-to-use online solution. 

     

    What is a Special Event?

    • Special Events include community-wide events such as parades, craft fairs, festivals, and bike races.

    Temporary Use Permits

    • Temporary Use Permits are required for tent sales, sidewalk sales, concerts on private property, and other uses. 
    • Questions regarding Temporary Use Applications or Permits can be directed to the Community Development Department at (707) 449-5140. 

    Facility Rental

    • Depending on the nature of your event, you may be required to submit a special events application. Your customer service representative will let you know if you need to complete the application.
