Dog Parks
Lagoon Valley Dog Park Improvements
Construction begins August 19, 2024 and is anticipated to go through mid November, 2024.
Visit one of the other two dog parks in town. Details can be found below.
Lagoon Valley Off-leash Dog Park
4627 Peña Adobe Road • I-80/Peña Adobe Park Exit
Fenced 30,000 square foot dog park complete shade trees and canine drinking fountains. Visit the Lagoon Valley Park Page for full park details.
Improvements Include:
- Expanded off-leash areas with separate areas for large and small dogs
- New double gate entries with easy access entry
- New concrete paved walkways
- New trees for future shade
- New higher fence (5 feet) around the large dog area
Centennial Off-leash Dog Park

Off-leash dog area with separate fenced areas for both large and small dogs.
Owl Off-leash Dog Park
5175 Fry Road
Off-leash dog area with separate fenced areas for both large and small dogs.
Leashed dogs are welcome at all our parks. Please pick up after them.
OFF-LEASH DOG AREA RULES
USE THE DOG PARK FACILITIES AT OWN RISK
PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
- All dogs over 4 months of age must have a valid license. (VMC § 6.08.030)

Remain in the off-leash area and maintain control over your dog(s) at all times. (VMC § 6.04.080)

Remove your dog(s) from off-leash area at the first sign of aggression. (VMC § 6.04.080)

Do not bring dog(s) under 4 months of age, female dog(s) in heat, or intact male dog(s) into the off-leash area. (VMC § 6.04.080)

Immediately clean up and properly dispose of waste left by your dog(s). (VMC § 6.04.081, & VMC § 12.28.090)

Children under 16 years of age should be accompanied by an adult. Children under 9 are not recommended in the off-leash area.

Do not bring food of any kind, or glass containers, into the off-leash area.
