Thank Goodness It's Fun Club (TGIF) offers before-school and after-school programs for children in grades 1-6 at Alamo, Browns Valley, Cambridge, Cooper, Foxboro, Meadowlands (Callison), and Sierra Vista in a safe setting, supervised by responsible and trained staff.

Character development, socialization, and esteem-building are interwoven into daily activities which include: organized games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, homework help, and other positive recreational experiences. We strive to promote health, wellness, and fun!  Kindergarten options are also available depending on the school/bell schedule.

Registration Dates for the 2024-2025 School Year

• May 1-31 Priority registration for current families
• June 1-30 Waitlist families and siblings of current families must register in person.
• July 8th open to the public

AFTER SCHOOL Programs 2024-2025 School Year Enrollment

Program will begin immediately following the last school bell and ends at 6:00pm.

• Full year payment or monthly automatic payment plans are available.  In order for payments to be automatically withdrawn, families must visit a community center to sign authorization to process future charges.
  • After School Grades 1-6 $365.00 monthly rate (May/June $425)
  • After-School Kindergarten (Sierra Vista and Meadowlands ONLY) $421.00 monthly rate (May/June $456)
  • Additional Fees and Discounts
    • $59 Initial Registration fee due at sign up.
    • $10 Maintenance Fee due at sign up.
    • 15% Non-Resident Additional Fee for families residing outside of The City of Vacaville. Must register in-person when signing up for the payment plan. 
    • Autopayment is available online, but must up in person.
    • 10% Sibling Discount. Must register in-person to receive discount on payment plans. Full year payment available online.    

*Camp VACAtion is a program that offers care for children during school days off that are not City holidays (during the school-year). These program can be located at any of the TGIF sites and are likely to be at a location different than the child's regular TGIF school site.

BEFORE SCHOOL Programs 2024-2025 School Year Enrollment

Each site will open at 6:30am. Staff will walk the children to school between 8:00-8:15, when the blacktop opens.  Each site has a maximum roster of 14 children.

• Full year payment or monthly automatic payment plans are available.  Please note, payment plan options evenly distribute the full year fee over ten equal installments.
• Before School Grades K-6 $189.00 monthly rate
  • Additional Fees and Discounts
    • $59 Initial Registration fee due at sign up.
    • $10 Maintenance Fee due at sign up.
    • 15% Non-Resident Additional Fee for families residing outside of The City of Vacaville. Must register in-person when signing up for the payment plan.  Full year payment available online.
    • 10% Sibling Discount. Must register in-person to receive discount on payment plans. Full year payment available online.   
• Please note, Before School site locations vary and are subject to cancellation due to minimum registration numbers not being met or other program needs.

Additional Information

• A CivicRec account with an email address on-file and a credit card on file is required for participation in TGIF.
• We encourage families to register their children on a waiting list if they are interested in a spot in the program.
• Program observes all City holidays. Check out TGIF+Camp VACAtion to have your children attend after school as well as school break camp (Camp VACAtion).
• All programs are peanut free.
