The Environmental Concern Reporting Tool can be used to submit and track non-emergency environmental concerns around Vacaville. These concerns may include items such as debris blocking a gutter, a leaking vehicle, or oil being dumped into a storm drain.

This is not a tool for situations that need an immediate or emergency response. For emergency concerns, please see alternate contact information at the bottom of this page.

How to use the tool

To submit a new concern:

1. Click on Submit Report.
2. Select the type of concern from the drop down and fill out the rest of the form. All fields are optional. Name and contact information remain anonymous and are only used, if needed, for follow-up by City staff regarding details of a reported concern.
3. You can specify the address by entering it manually, touching/clicking on the map, or using your device's GPS.
4. You can also attach a photo to the request. The more information we have, the better we can address the issue.
5. Click on Report It at the bottom of the form to send it.

The request may take a few minutes to be processed and be displayed on the map. Any comments not related to the nature of the environmental concern or observation will be hidden from public view.

Please allow for 24 to 72 hours response time for observation reported.

For emergency concerns related to a spill, or for other storm drain, water, or sewer concerns, contact the Public Works Department. Please check their page for the appropriate contact information depending on your concern.
