Water Consumption in Units
Your water consumption is measured, read and billed in units, which are equal to 100 cubic feet (cc), or 748 gallons, of water. Your water meter is read approximately every 2 months. You can measure your water consumption in one of three ways:
Your utility bill includes your meter (fixed) fee and consumption (actual usage) charge, as well as shows the period for which you are billed, and will show you how much water you've used, in units, per billing cycle for the last year.
