Water efficient landscape rebate of up to $1.50 per square foot is available for Vacaville residents. No retroactive rebates may be approved and rebates are subject to available funding. For more information on how to qualify for this rebate, visit Solano County Water Agency or call 707-455-1113. 

Is artificial turf eligible for the water efficient landscape rebate?

The Water Efficient Landscape Rebate program is funded through a state and federal grant that currently does not support the installation of artificial turf as a qualifying replacement for lawn. Accordingly, artificial turf is not eligible for the Water Efficient Landscape Rebate Program.

Purchases of specific water-conserving products are eligible for rebates of up to $50, or up to $250 if all five (5) are purchased. The eligible products include hot water recirculating system components, laundry to landscape system components, pool covers, rain barrels, and rain sensors.

Purchase and installation of a qualifying high efficiency clothes washer is eligible for a rebate of up to $100. The clothes washer purchased must be on the Energy Star Most Efficient 2022 Clothes Washers list.

Rebates of up to $300, $700, or $1,000 may be available on the purchase and installation of a qualifying smart irrigation controller dependent upon the number of stations.

Free water efficient fixtures (aerators, showerheads, nozzles, and shower timers) are available to qualified residents. Applicant must be a City of Vacaville water customer whose home was built in 1993 or earlier and must complete a residential survey.
