TAG - Teen Advisory Group is a dynamic motivational leadership opportunity for teens in grades 7-12 who have a sincere commitment to creating extraordinary experiences. This planning team allows teenagers to discover and redesign the events, activities, and programs offered to the community. Participation is FREE!!

Sunset Inspiration Hour

Relax with friends in a beautiful park, get creative and be inspired by the setting sun. Pre-made picnic painting/drawing spots available for reservation through Civic Rec. It includes picnic blanket, pillows to rest on, canvas/tracing paper, paint or pencils, snacks and water. Up to 4 people per pre-made picnic reservation, or drop by during the event and create your own picnic space! Bring your own material and bounce your ideas off others to create a beautiful art piece.

Online Drivers Education

This state required Driver Education course is being offered through Economic Driving School #2430. The Driver Education course is approved by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Reading, flash graphics, videos, quizzes, and practice tests are part of the course. In addition, the student will be prepared to be a safer driver, bicyclist, and pedestrian as well as pass the DMV written test. The course is easy to use. You simply log into the website, enroll, and begin immediately. A state completion certificate is sent to the student via U.S. mail at the completion of the course.

Babysitters Club

Safe@Home

Safe@Home is a program designed for students in grades 4-6 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. Safe@Home is a 90-minute program that teaches students how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Students are also introduced to the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart and learn a system to help them assess and respond to injuries and illnesses.

Calling all bookworms and literary enthusiasts! Join us on an exciting journey as we deep dive into the pages of thrilling adventures, heartwarming romances, mind-bending mysteries and everything in between. Get ready to embark on lively discussions with fellow book lovers as we dissect plots, and analyze character development. Our group will also offer exciting activities like book themed games and creative projects that help bring each story to life. Expect laughter, snacks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere! A selection of approved books will be available to vote upon monthly. Registration is required.

Teen Scrapbooking Club

Teens Scrapbooking Club provides a creative outlet for self-expression, personal growth, and memory preservations. Participants will learn scrapbooking essentials and personalize their pages with photos and memories. Weekly prompts and group sharing will foster a supportive community. Each participant will receive one journal to bring to and from weekly event, along with craft materials provided.
