Lead Service Line Inventory
As part of the federal regulation to locate and remove lead services within community water systems, all public water systems in the United States are required to publish a list of the water service line material. The attached report contains all the water meter locations in the City of Vacaville. You'll find multiple entries for addresses with several meters, along with the service line material for both the City side and the customer side of each meter. Most entries are labeled as "Non-Lead - Other" because they were installed after the lead pipe ban. Although we do not always have the exact type of pipe, we can confirm it is not lead. Other neighborhoods and areas of Vacaville, that were in service prior to the lead ban, had random locations checked to determine there is no lead in the service system. For more information visit the Revised Lead and Copper Rule Regulations.
