VACAVILLE, Calif. – The City of Vacaville is analyzing its current outreach methods to identify best practices and areas of improvement. The City invites the community to participate in this process and share feedback in a short survey by Sunday, November 17, 2024.
The survey aims to gain insight into how the community currently receives information from the City.
“One of the goals in the City of Vacaville Strategic Plan is to promote community engagement and increase equity and inclusion. Analyzing our current practices is an important step in developing a comprehensive engagement plan, and we want to make sure your voice is heard early on in the process,” said Assistant City Manager GeorgeAnne Meggers-Smith. “Your input is essential in helping Vacaville promote community dialogue and engagement. We encourage all of you to participate in this survey so we can make sure we are doing our part to best serve you.”
The short 3-minute survey consists of a series of brief questions designed to gather feedback on the outreach channels the community prefers and how informed they feel about things going on in Vacaville. The feedback received through this survey will help shape the goals, objectives and strategies in the future Community Engagement Strategy and Communications Plan.
As part of this ongoing effort to enhance the City’s communications, the City plans to conduct additional surveys in the future to gather more targeted feedback.
The survey is available now at CityofVacaville.gov/Survey. Please submit your responses by November 17, 2024. For any questions, contact Joanna Leal, Public Relations Manager, Joanna.Leal@CityofVacaville.com.
